Do I need to be without friends to participate?

Not at all. You may be new to an area, entering a different season of life, looking for people who share a particular interest or simply ready to expand an already meaningful circle.

Can current friends or besties join?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Current friends and besties are welcome to join too. Each person creates their own introduction and can meet additional people who may become part of a wider circle.

How long is the interview?

Your guided interview lasts approximately 10–15 minutes.

How long is the finished video?

Accepted Answer

Your professionally edited Friend Circle Introduction Video is approximately 3–8 minutes. The final length depends on your answers and the natural flow of the conversation. You also receive two short social-media clips, each less than one minute. We are not trying to force every person’s story into the same exact length. Some introductions are naturally concise, while others need a little more time to reveal the participant’s personality, warmth and friendship style.

Why is the finished video shorter than the interview?

Shorter videos generally hold attention better. Our goal is to preserve the moments that reveal your personality, warmth and friendship style without asking viewers to watch the entire interview.

Will I see the interview questions beforehand?

Yes. You receive all of your interview prompts inside your application before you schedule, so you have time to think about what you would like to say.

What happens if I feel awkward on camera?

You do not have to perform or speak alone to a camera. A real person guides the conversation, and you can pause or restart an answer whenever needed.

Can I approve my video before it is published?

Always. Nothing is published until you approve the specific final video version and the specific public-profile version, and authorize publication. Each approval is recorded with its exact wording, version, date and time.

What does the one-time fee cover?

A real human interviewer, guided preparation, recording, professional editing, one reasonable round of adjustments, your review and approval, publication in the Friend Circle Directory, a shareable link to your published video, two downloadable social clips and your Friend Code.

Why is there a fee?

Your payment covers a real, guided video-production service, not simply access to another friendship app. A member of our team speaks with you and guides the interview, so you are not left trying to perform alone in front of a camera. Requiring every participant to complete the same paid process also creates a more intentional community. It cannot guarantee anyone's intentions or personal safety, but it helps discourage casual browsing, empty profiles and people who are not serious about making genuine friends.

Who can see my complete profile and video?

Accepted Answer

Anyone may browse previews. Your complete approved profile and video are available to signed-in participants who have their own approved and published Friend Circle Introduction Video.

Can someone without an approved video contact me?

Accepted Answer

No. Anyone asking to meet you has completed and paid for the same guided video process. No anonymous browsing. No empty profiles. No one-sided vulnerability.

Question 16

How does “I'd Like to Contact Them” work?

Accepted Answer

You watch someone's approved video and select “I'd Like to Contact Them,” confirming that if they also say yes, your approved connection email may be shared with them. They privately review your approved profile and video and choose “Yes, They May Contact Me” or “No, Not at This Time.” Two approved videos. Two yeses. One new conversation.

When is my email address shared?

Only after two eligible participants independently say yes will their approved connection email addresses be exchanged. If either person declines, nothing is shared.

Are telephone numbers shared?

Accepted Answer

No. Your telephone number is never shared with another participant. After both participants say yes, only their approved connection email addresses are exchanged.

Does Bestiemony choose or approve my matches?

Accepted Answer

No. Bestiemony facilitates the mutual introduction but does not select, endorse or guarantee the match. We do review reports, investigate suspected misconduct and enforce community standards.

Question 20

Does Bestiemony conduct background checks?

Accepted Answer

Bestiemony does not conduct criminal background checks and cannot guarantee another participant's identity, intentions, conduct, compatibility or safety. A guided video interview, approved profile or facilitated introduction is not a safety certification or guarantee. Participants must use their own judgment when communicating or meeting.

Question 21

What should I do before meeting someone?

Meet in a populated public place, arrange your own transportation, tell someone you trust where you are going, do not send money, keep financial and sensitive information private, and leave and contact emergency services if you feel unsafe.

How do I report inappropriate behavior?

Email hello@expandyourfriendcircle.com or use the Contact Us form and choose “Safety or Report a Concern.” Safety reports are prioritized.

Question 23

Can I take a break or hide my profile?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Active means visible and accepting eligible requests. Taking a Break means visible but not accepting requests. Hidden means removed from directory results. Your account, application and video are preserved in every case.

Can I have my profile and video removed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Email hello@expandyourfriendcircle.com to withdraw future publication permission. After verifying the request we remove the approved profile and video from the Friend Circle Directory and Bestiemony-controlled accounts within 10 business days. Removal cannot guarantee deletion of copies previously shared or downloaded by other people. Raw interview footage is never published or supplied to other participants. Bestiemony may retain raw footage for up to 60 days after final publication to resolve technical issues. It will then be securely deleted unless longer preservation is reasonably required for a dispute, safety report or legal requirement.

Are refunds available?

Please be certain before purchasing. All purchases are final and nonrefundable because this personalized service reserves interview, production and administrative capacity specifically for you. Changing one’s mind, cancelling, rescheduling, missing an appointment, failing to schedule or deciding not to complete the video process does not create a refund. A refund may be provided only when Expand Your Friend Circle cannot provide the purchased service and cannot offer an acceptable replacement, a verified duplicate or unauthorized charge occurred, or a refund is required by applicable law. Nothing in this policy removes any non-waivable consumer right you have under applicable law.

Can I reschedule my interview?

You may reschedule your interview up to three times. Rescheduling is free when completed through the official calendar more than 24 hours before your appointment. Changes made within 24 hours, including rescheduling after a missed appointment, require a $10 late-rescheduling fee. All sales are final and nonrefundable. Every change, free or paid, counts toward the three-reschedule maximum, and all changes must be made through the official calendar. Email, telephone, text, voicemail and social-media messages do not constitute rescheduling. After three reschedules, the purchase expires if you do not attend, and continuing requires a new purchase at the price then in effect.

Share Your Friend Code. Earn $10.

Earn $10 when someone uses your Friend Code and completes their paid Friend Circle Introduction Video. After your approved Friend Circle Introduction Video and public profile are published, your EFC Friend Code also becomes your referral code. When someone uses your code and completes the qualifying paid video process, you earn a $10 referral payment. The referring person must be an active participant with an approved and published video and profile. The new participant must enter the referring participant's EFC Friend Code. Entering a referral code does not change the new participant's price. The $10 becomes eligible only after the referred participant pays, completes the interview and video process, approves the exact video and profile, and is published. Eligible $10 referral payments are processed monthly. Participants must provide the required payout and tax information. Participants must use the required referral disclosure when promoting their code. Required disclosure: “I may receive a $10 referral payment if you use my Friend Code to join Expand Your Friend Circle and complete the qualifying paid video process.” If a Friend Circle participant introduced you to us, enter their EFC Friend Code so we can give them credit. A Friend Code entered here credits the referral only. It does not change your price. You can enter or correct it any time before your payment is verified; after that, only an administrator may correct a documented attribution error, and the correction is audited.

What is a Friend Code?

A Friend Code is your unique participant identifier, such as EFC-1001. It connects your video, your social clips and your directory listing, and other people can search for you by it.

Does participating guarantee I will make a friend?
